Pinch Hits

Anyone who is interested can sign up for pinch hits at this link. You do not have to be signed up to participate in the exchange in order to claim pinch hits. Claims will occur on a first come, first served basis. Simply reply to the message posted on the group and provide your AO3 name to claim a pinch hit.

If we have any issues matching someone, they will go out as a pinch hit right away. There could therefore potentially be several pinch hits going out immediately after assignments are finished.

I will post to the Dreamwidth community whenever new pinch his go out, and if any of them linger then multiple reminders will be posted until someone has claimed the request in question. If you have any questions, let me know.

Is it safe to assume that those of us who have signed up for the list in the past will still be signed up? (I should know this, but my brain's gone a bit foggy today.)

The link to the group has been available in the FAQs since I posted them last month, so you should be on the list if you've joined any time in the past month or so. This is the first year that we've used a Google Group for pinch hits for this exchange, though, so you wouldn't be on it from previous years if that's what you mean.
