Clarification on Requests

holly_polyAs this discussion was happening in the comments of one of the previous admin posts, I wanted to make a separate post about it so that everyone would be aware of where this stands in the rules.
For this year's Holly Poly, it is perfectly fine to request whatever you would like in your optional details, including things such as noncon and dubcon that were previously not allowed. That said, it's entirely up to the person creating for you whether or not they include that aspect of your request in the fanwork they are creating as optional details are optional. I recommend that you do not request a relationship if you would only be happy receiving noncon/dubcon/etc. and nothing else, because there is a chance that your assigned creator may not be comfortable including that aspect of your request.
That said, if you don't want to receive noncon/dubcon/etc., simply say so in your signup. Any DNWs included in the signup itself will be enforced by the mod. Any DNWs listed in letters but not the signup itself, as well as any general likes/dislikes/prompts/etc. listed in the signup or in letters, are optional for the creator.
When sign-ups open, please send an e-mail to holly.poly.exchange@gmail.com if you absolutely do not want to receive an assignment that has prompts that request a specific subject matter such as noncon, even with the understanding that any optional details can be ignored. I will do my best to make certain you do not receive an assignment that includes that request. Any emails that are sent will remain between myself and the participant.
