After some discussion with people more knowledgeable about the fandom than I am, I've moved all relationships featuring characters solely from Stargirl (TV 2020) to that fandom rather than putting them under DC's Arrowverse. If you want to nominate relationships involving crossovers between Stargirl and other shows in the Arrowverse, those can go under DC's Arrowverse for the fandom, but ones strictly from the Stargirl will be separate at least for this year.

If you're the individual who nominated several RPF relationships related to a certain current political figure in the United States, I'm sorry but I'm using my power as a mod to veto those nominations.

For Captive Prince - C. S. Pacat, thank you for editing your nominations, but Laurent/Nicaise/Original Characters, Laurent/Original Characters, and Nicaise/Original Characters are still too broad. It needs to be something more along the lines of Original Male Characters, Original Soldiers, Original Vaskian Women, etc. There needs to be some type of disambiguation added, as "Original Characters" by itself is essentially all but infinite.

First, please remember to nominate the Star Trek TV shows under Star Trek: Classic Timeline. There have been a number of relationships nominated under the name of the actual show(s) they're from rather than Star Trek: Classic Timeline over the past few days. I've either approved them under the correct fandom name if they were new or rejected them if they were already in the tag set under the correct fandom.

Now, onto the actual questions:

For Altered Carbon (TV), one of the nominations is Poe/Takeshi Kovacs/Takeshi Kovacs. Does there need to be some type of disambiguation added for Takeshi Kovacs? I know enough from fannish osmosis to be aware that the character's complicated, but I'm not familiar enough with the fandom to know whether it should be approved as is or if it needs more clarification.

If you're the one who nominated Greg Lestrade/John Watson/Sherlock Holmes and John Watson/Mycroft Holmes/Sherlock Holmes under Sherlock Holmes - Arthur Conan Doyle, I just wanted to confirm the fandom is correct and that you didn't intend to nominate those under Sherlock (TV). "Greg Lestrade" isn't typically the character tag used when referring to the original stories by ACD.

There are also still two outstanding issues:

If you're the person who nominated Emily Prentiss (Criminal Minds)/Olivia Benson (SVU) under crossover - Fandom, did you perhaps forget to list someone in the relationship? At least three people need to be involved for it to be approved for this exchange. If the relationship isn't edited to add a third person by the time nominations close, I will be rejecting it.

Nominations have only been open for twelve(ish) hours, and we already have 663 relationships in 129 fandoms nominated. I'm working on approving them as quickly as possible as they come in, but I do have some things like "work" and "sleep" and "D&D" that I have to deal with so things may slow down a bit later today.

That said, I already have a couple of questions for people.

For The Magnus Archives (Podcast), just to clarify: are Helen | The Distortion and Helen Richardson separate characters? I'm familiar enough with TMA to know that there's some merging with other entities and such involved with those character(s), so I just wanted to clarify that they're different enough to be listed separately as there are several relationships nominated using both tags.

Please note that while [Specific Character]/[Specific Group of Characters] is acceptable as a nomination, [Specific Character]/Everyone is too broad.

For example: Lex Luthor/Lionel Luthor's Board Members is acceptable because "Lionel Luthor's Board Members" involves a finite group of people. The same goes for Voldemort/Death Eaters, Shipwrecked Sailor/Mermaids, and Peter Pan/Lost Boys. While Carol Danvers/Anyone and Everyone or Jack Harkness/Everyone He's Ever Met are understandable, they're too broad because it could essentially involve an infinite number of people.

Just a reminder, but this is an exchange for relationships made up of three or more people. Any 'ships with only two people that are nominated will be rejected.

There have been a variety of relationships nominated for Deadpool (Movies) that include Gwen Stacy, Mary Jane Watson, and/or Peter Parker. There have already been over 150 fandoms and over 700 relationships nominated in less than 24 hours, so please keep it up. I'm very happy to see that people still have interest in the exchange.

Please make certain that you're nominating fandoms that are part of larger multiverses like The Arrowverse, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Mass Effect, etc. under the correct umbrella fandoms as listed in the previous post. There have already been several that have been nominated under their individual titles rather than the larger fandom they're a part of, and - while I can fix it while approving nominations - it adds up whenever several people start making incorrect nominations. If you can double-check that you're listing the fandom correctly before submitting your request, it would be a great help for me.

Some of you may notice that I've added a fandom name in parentheses after a relationship you've nominated. I'm mainly doing so for relationships that could potentially fall under multiple fandoms (like Marvel 616 and the MCU, or The Arrowverse and DC Comics), to help prevent wandering tags. It won't affect your nomination in any way, but that's the reason behind it if you notice that with any of your noms.

There are some minor changes/clarifications related to the various Power Rangers and Tolkien fandoms, and some details have been added when it comes to various fandoms based on DC Comics titles. Additional clarification has also been added for The Arrowverse (mostly based around certain major crossover events that are happening).

I'm aware than any decision won't make everyone happy, but I went with the ones that seemed to have the most support from participants based on comments and emails sent over the last few days.

Please nominate crossovers under Crossover - Fandom for the fandom. List the characters with their fandom after the character name. Please separate anything related to the Power Rangers television shows under Power Rangers (TV), the comics under Power Rangers (Comics), and the recent(ish) movie under Power Rangers (2017).

Please note that while [Specific Character]/[Specific Group of Characters] is acceptable as a nomination, [Specific Character]/Everyone is too broad.

For example: Lex Luthor/Lionel Luthor's Board Members is acceptable because "Lionel Luthor's Board Members" involves a finite group of people. The same goes for Voldemort/Death Eaters, Shipwrecked Sailor/Mermaids, and Peter Pan/Lost Boys. While Carol Danvers/Anyone and Everyone is understandable, it's too broad because it could essentially involve an infinite number of people.

RPF characters must be 18+ at the time of nomination. Significant others/children/etc. of public figures are not permitted unless they are public figures in their own right.

First, a few updates to make certain everyone is on the same page:

The relationships Ereinion Gil-galad/Other(s) and Shadow Moon/Others have been rejected as being too broad since I did not receive any clarification from the nominators. Stephanie Brown/Tim Drake/Jason Todd has been added under DCU (Comics). If you were the person who nominated any of those three, please get in touch with me ASAP if you want the relationship added/moved before sign-ups open.

After hearing from the person making the nomination, the relationship of Aragorn | Estel/Elladan/Elrohir has been moved to Born of Hope (2009) as it was intended to be for the fan film in question. That same relationship has also been added under Middle Earth – J.R.R. Tolkien.

I've removed a few duplicate relationships, moved a handful that went wandering back to where they were supposed to be, and corrected any capitalization/spelling errors that I noticed. Also, all Les Mis relationships are now listed under Les Misérables - All Media Types.

I will be opening nominations later tonight, probably within the next 2-3 hours, so if anyone sees any issues with the tag set that haven't been caught yet? Please make certain to leave a comment ASAP, as this will be your last chance. I've fixed what I've noticed, but there are quite a few fandoms nominated that I'm not particularly familiar with so potential problems might have slipped through.

There was a small surge in last-minute nominations, so I kept them open a bit past the posted deadline, but they are now closed. I'll be taking a close look at the tag set over the next few days to look for duplicate nominations and/or potential issues that slipped through when I was approving things.
